Up early and out of pricey campground and in to Zion Park campground; lovely site with red cliffs in background for $16.
Took the shuttle up to Temple Of Sinawava. Excellent idea; large busses with open ceilings and big windows stopping at eight different beautiful spots, mostly trailheads. You can ride, ride and walk, walk up and ride back, or even ride up and bike back.
We took a couple of beautiful trails and many beautiful pictures. Here is flora we encountered:

On our walk back from the shuttle stop/Visitor's Centre, we encountered five muledeer:
We hung out at this beautiful campsite, then went for a bike ride where we encountered a tarantula (or some other giant, ugly, fuzzy spider. Alas, no camera.
BUT, here's the view from my chair.
Apparently the male tarantulas migrate in October seeking a mate or running from her after the deed to avoid being killed, and many of the fuzzy spiders can be seen crossing the road or out in the open. When we were in Arizona in 2008, we saw more than a dozen crossing the road during our drive through the mountains on the backroads between Pheonix and Flagstaff.
