We rode to Seaside, another resort town nearby. It was "interesting": lots of BIG, concrete buildings, condos, hotels, shoppes (spelled this way on purpose) and rich tourists (town is 30 years old, has 1,200 people but 10,000 visitors there now). Nice place to ride THROUGH.
Back home and lunch then left David sleeping and walked the beach. Gorgeous but windy. The park beach is so quiet between the two town beaches on each side:

We had dinner then joined Mo, Tim, David and Sylvia (Lindsay) and Margaret and John (Ottawa) for a campfire. It's nice to make these new friends and get ideas for future trips (and give some; they want to go to Texas and West, so our travels should help them).
Would like to stay longer. Fingers crossed.
